kjcanon: As you know; I began telling people 4 years ago now, in the summer of 2008: if you want to keep someone out of the WH, you have to keep him or her off the ballot. But at that time, I was focused on advancing the Presidential candidacy of Hillary Clinton. After I abandoned my own efforts on her behalf; I began 'working' on behalf of disgruntled voters throughout the internet, focusing state by state on existing laws which could keep Barack Obama off the ballot. That's how I ended up in TX. You have laws which, theoretically, could keep Constitutionally ineligible Presidential candidates off the ballot. But those laws are only as good as they are being enforced and, as you of all people now know; they are not being enforced. If you hadn't (re)contacted me 6 months ago now; and worked diligently to carry out the steps required to create the record of implementation (or non-implementation) of existing ballot laws; your fellow Texans would still be unaware, notwithstanding there is a "federally qualified" requirement in the state's current ballot laws; due to pervasive spotty enforcement; there is no guarantee that the names of the party candidates for President and Vice President representing the D party, printed on the 2012 general election ballot in TX represent people who are Constitutionally eligible for the job.

I want people from other states to 'get' that, of course, if no documentary evidence is cited by the state D party as the basis for their certification of federal qualification, in TX, a ballot eligibility state; then it makes no sense to assume, such evidence exists. ADMINISTRATOR

NBC_Vic_Hern: I have no idea whether Attorney Harden thinks Ms. Canon (or anyone else) is stupid. I do know that, even assuming she can be considered an expert in the PIA, and was acting in good faith when she denied Canon's complaint that the TDP had violated the PIA; she has no expertise in Election law. (On the other hand; when the SoS's Chief of Elections, Attorney Keith Ingram (background, insurance) rejected Ms. Canon's well-researched petition to 'fix' the SoS's web site so as to inform the voters of TX that the political parties alone are responsible for determining their candidates' federal qualification; he was rude and condescending, literally fobbing her off with a wave of his hand. TEXAS, WE HAVE A PROBLEM. Now, only the citizens of TX, through direct citizen action; can compel their state actors, including under certain circumstances the political party chairs, to obey the law. ADMINISTRATOR

Who do these people think they are?
How dumbed down do they believe we are?
Are they running scared from ridicule?
Are they running scared from threats to career or worse?

Or, do they just KNOW they better do whatever to defend
the certain parties who have the power to make or break?
